I was getting a little bored with the tiny houses so I made a tiny church to go with them.
I found a church block on my EQ7 and modified it to match with the tiny houses. I didn’t get it turned the right way but I didn’t realize that until it was finished. There were some very tiny pieces so I wasn’t sure if things were going to look right.
It turned out cute but now I’m wondering what else I could make. A barn? A school? So many possibilities.
I’m so excited about this bag of scraps I bought this past week. They’re small scraps but perfect for these tiny houses. Hopefully I can get some more made this week.
I love the church and I think it’s fine to face the other way. Can’t wait to see what else you add. Maybe some trees. I have so many projects going at the moment. Hoping to finish one UFO each month. How’s the job? I find that I’m too tired to sew in the evening and too busy on the weekends. Wish I could find a better balance. Thinking of starting a blog just to document what I’m working on. Any suggestions?
I thought about trees too! The job is OK and it’s only 4 hours a day so still have time for sewing & blogging. Hoping to get my studio done this summer and get my long arm going. You should do a blog – I find that it challenges me to keep working on projects and try new things. Although I don’t know how you find the time to do all your quilting! Did you finish your schooling? I think you were working on your masters?
